一九九七毕业于长春地质学院应用化学及地球化学系,获工学学士学位。一九九七在中国科学院地球化学研究所环境地球化学国家重点实验室攻读硕士学位,主要参加云贵高原湖泊的研究工作。2003年毕业于中科院地球化学研究所环境地球化学国家重点实验室,获得理学博士学位,研究方向为微生物地球化学。2003年至2005年于华东师范大学河口海岸国家重点实验室从事博士后研究工作。目前为上海大学环境与化工学院研究员,主要从事水库环境效应及水环境地球化学研究。2006年12月-2007年4月参加中国第二十三次南极科学考察。
