2005年获香港科技大学博士学位。先后在中国石油天然气集团公司、香港科技大学应用技术中心、上海大学环境与化学工程学院工作。1988年开始从事大气气溶胶中可溶有机质的研究,在有机质的分析测试方面具有丰富的经验。在国际、国内核心刊物发表论文近70篇。主持国家自然科学基金项目4项,曾参与国家863项目、国家九五重点攻关项目、国家自然科学基金/香港研究资助局联合项目、上海市科委重点项目、上海市环保局重大项目等的研究。目前主要从事大气细颗粒物组成特征、来源及形成机理的研究。
